Standard features of the MrSteam MS90EC1 steam generator include a unitized stainless steel reservoir, an industrial, large diameter heating element that is serviceable, modular "snap-in" connections, an electronic water-level control system, and a full-port drain valve. The steam generator also comes with a limited lifetime warranty on its parts.

Safety features of the steam generator include a built-in, low-voltage 24-volt control, a 60-minute electronic countdown with a 75-minute limiting safety back-up, an ASME safety valve, and the ITempo Control. The ITempo Control is suitable for use both inside and outside the steam/shower enclosure, and features a digital temperature display, programmable temperature settings, an ergonomic easy-to-read soft touch keypad, and On/Off and Pause modes. It operates on low voltage, making it safe for use in or out of the steam room.

The MrSteam AromaSteam steamhead, finished in polished chrome, enhances the steambath experience by providing a quieter and more calming atmosphere. Users can add eucalyptus or AromaSteam oils for an aromatherapy experience. The steamhead is designed to balance the distribution of steam and essence during steambathing.

Additionally, the steam generator includes AutoFlush technology, which automatically introduces fresh water before use and drains the generator tank following use. This feature improves performance, prolongs the system's life, and operates quietly. The steam generator is cULus Listed.
